Mother (Mama Mia), I thank you for welcoming me into your family and allowing me to become close to you during your final years and will always treasure our daily talks that filled me with a mother's wit and love. Thank you for being the mother that was close to me while mine was so far away in Mexico. I will always treasure the love, joy, security and self-esteem I gained from your love! Your saying, "I have two daughters that I love and am proud of...)will remain with me all my life! I await the time we meet in person, all resting in God's Most Loving  Arms. Mother, I am comforted in the knowledge that you are at peace with God, and doing all the things you've wished for so long. I'll always remember the many words you have left me with guiding me to never forget to take care of number one. You will be eternally cherished. You have touched my life in wonderful ways you will never know. I am and always will be proud that you chose me to be your daughter. A fine lady you were and a fine lady you have made me become. Thank you that we had those talks in the last few years that truly bonded us as Mother and Daughter. REMEMBERING MOTHER:

Of course, there are many many areas of remembering my mother, Barbara Henderson that I could expound upon. However, time will not permit that. One wonderful thing about her I know ALL who knew her remembers that is precious to me was her laughter. Mother's laugh was loud, hearty, lengthy and full of fun. No one could ever say she was faking it. Mother was never one to pretend she was enjoying herself unless it was true. Her laugh of joy always spilled over on all who were within range of hearing. As children, we would routinely imitate her laugh because of its uniqueness and it giving us many moments of unabandoned joy:  As adults, her laugh spurred others to join her in the merriment. If one were downstairs on the first-floor, all could hear her laugh from the third floor apartment. If you were with her while she engaged in her laughter, you had no choice but to join her because, as they say, "Laughter Is Contagious", hers certainly was. Her sounds of joy and happiness is a fondness she filled me with that I will always carry throughout my life.
