Belinda Ann Grabener was born May 23, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Myrtle Mae Carmack Grabener and William Marshall Grabener. She loved to do crossword puzzles. Belinda was very gifted and creative. She enjoyed making bracelets to share with all of her family. She adored family gatherings. She was full of love and had a big heart. Belinda called each one of her nieces, nephews, sisters and her lifelong best friend, Jeanne Dupree on the phone often. She would not talk for long but she wanted to make sure all was well with the ones she loved.
Belinda went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 74. She is now reunited with her parents, sister, Mazie Sellers and her husband, George Sellers; brothers, Olen Grabener and his wife, Thelma, Clifford Grabener and Bobby Grabener and his wife, Evelynn; brothers-in-law, James "Hamp" Sanders, Pete Maroff and Dean Williams.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Doris Grabener, Ruby Sanders, Audrey Maroff and Lillian Williams; brother, Bruce Grabener and his wife Debbie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family members.
A celebration of life for Belinda will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108.
Special thanks to her great niece, Rachal Perez for taking care of Belinda for the last couple of months. Our entire family is very grateful for what Rachal did.
