On Monday, December 21, 2020, Billie Wanda Farris, 82, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed from this life and went to be with her Heavenly Father. Wanda was born October 30, 1938 to Omie Williams Farris and Joseph William Farris in Logansport, Louisiana. Wanda was a graduate of Logansport High School. She went on to graduate from Norton Business College. She retired from Bell South, where she was a faithful employee for 30 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Wanda was dedicated member of Heritage Baptist Church and participated in the Heritage Baptist choir.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Omie Williams Farris and Joseph William Farris, and by her beloved sister, Annie Lee Bacon.
Wanda is survived by her niece, Gloria Ohrns and family; and by her nephew, Grant Bacon and family, both of Colorado. Her memory will also be cherished by her honorary family: Goddaughter, Ranae Moran; God-grandchildren, Laura McNeil and husband Shawn McNeil, Sarah Moran, and Christopher Watson; and God-great grandchildren Ava McNeil, Gabriel Hernandez, and Sadie Fayard; and by her best friend, Pat Kilpatrick, and husband, Bob Kilpatrick.

A service celebrating the life of Billie Wanda Farris will be held Saturday, December 26, 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA . Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
