Charles Brennen McInturf, of Stonewall, Louisiana, passed away on May 19, 2026 surrounded by his family at the age of 32, following a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on August 21, 1993 to Dr. Charles “Chuck” and Stefanie Moran McInturf in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Brennen grew up as a lover of all things music. He learned at a young age how to play the drums and used his talents to play in church. He loved to listen to music with family and would always be the first to break out in song. To the outside world he might have seemed shy, but to those who he was closest to he was fun, loud and outgoing. He was always the first to crack a joke or lovingly make fun. Brennen also loved watching sports and could rattle off various sports statistics.
Brennen met the love of his life, Audrey, at 18. They built a beautiful life together for the fifteen years they have been together, eight of those being married. The joy of his life was Ella, their daughter.
Brennen is preceded in death by his grandfathers Don McInturf and Doug Moran.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Ellzey McInturf and daughter Ella Rose. He is also survived by his parents; grandmothers, Elaine McInturf and Pat Moran; sisters, Erin Fredieu and Lindsay Austin (Sam); in laws, Rickey and Joni Ellzey; sister in law, Brittney Mujica (Jose); nieces and nephew, Libby Fredieu and Oliver and Alaina Austin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Sam Austin, Michael Blue, Brett Forbus, Jonathan McCleskey, Jose Mujica and Luke White. Honorary pallbearer is his beloved dog, Ranger.
A celebration of life service will be held at Brookwood Baptist Church on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at one o’clock. A visitation will be held prior to the service at eleven o’clock. A private graveside will be held following the service.
