Mr. Cox was employed with G N B Battery for 35 years before retiring.
Brother Carl was in ministry for over 45 years. He had a heart to reach the lost and compassion for everyone he met, leading many of his family and friends to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mr. Cox is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jesse, Charles, Clyde, Claude, and Ernest Cox, his sisters, Ruth Walker, Jean Spinks and Clarene Cox, and a granddaughter Tiffany Deneen. He is survived by his son, Paul Cox, daughter, Karla Deneen, grandchildren, Kurt Deneen and Leighton Cox, sisters, Helen Smith and husband Eugene and Jewel Craig and husband Glen, other relatives and many friends.
A service celebrating the life of Carl Cox will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020, 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA Officiating will be Rev. Tim Whatley. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 15 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
