Clothilde Madeline Gonzales, 87, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on March 24, 2026. Born October 3, 1938, in Hamburg, Louisiana. Clothilde was a dignified and loving presence to all who knew her.
Clothilde worked at Blue Grass Liquor Distribution as a receptionist before later becoming a bank teller, where she ultimately retired. Through her years of work, she was known for her steady dedication and the quiet professionalism she brought to each day.
She loved to read books and enjoyed making crafts, including plaster pieces for wall décor. Most of all, Clothilde loved to sing and dance—simple joys that reflected her spirited heart. She also treasured time with her children, especially playing “I Spy,” and she faithfully cheered for her kids at football games, offering constant encouragement and support.
Clothilde is survived by her daughter, Tomie Jean Dellsperger (Kelly); her son, Andrew Gonzales (Cindy); her granddaughters, Amber Marie Dellsperger and Megan Elizabeth Gonzales; her sister, JoAnn Kuhn; her nephew, Mike Kuhn; her nephew, Scott Kuhn; her great nephews, Casey Kuhn, Andrew Kuhn, Cody Kuhn, and Bentley Kuhn; and her great niece, Sarah Kuhn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Raphael Gonzales; her father, Elster J. Bordelon; her mother, Fredna Marie Jeansonne; and her brother-in-law, Charles Kuhn.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Tuesday,
April 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Inurnment will be in Centuries Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
