Daniel Dampier, born on June 21, 1950, in Wisner, Louisiana, passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 75.

He resided in Greenwood, Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Dampier; his son, Jason Dampier; and his grandchildren, Makayla Dampier and Riley Dampier.

He is also survived by his brother, Robert William Dampier (Pat Dampier), and his nephews, Roy Dampier and Steven Dampier.

He was preceded in death by his father, John William Dampier; his mother, Mattie Marcelee Brown Dampier; his grandmother, Minnie Ola Dampier; and his grandfather, K.G. Dampier.
