Donald Glenn Hasha

Donald Glenn Hasha 60, passed away on October 18, 2022 at Holy Angels Residential Facility in Shreveport, La., where he was residing.

Donald was born May 21st, 1960 he was the 4th child of Thomas and Dorothy Hasha. Donald was from Lake Charles, La. where he lived for most of his life before moving to Leesville, La. where he resided for 5 years then Shreveport, La., where he lived the remainder of his life. Donald worked for Calcasieu Association for Retarded Citizens for several years.

He enjoyed watching wrestling and his favorite wrestler was Hulk Hogan. He loved to sing and his favorite singer was Elvis Presley, he liked to play cards and color. Donald was affectionately called Banjo by a few of his dad’s friends when he was given a guitar as a present one year and would strum it to his heart’s content. Donald was very loving and would tell everyone he met that he loved them. Those that cared for Donald at Holy Angels said he would make there day if they were feeling down he would always tell them he loved them and their day would be better.

He is survived by four siblings, Deanna Gay Hasha-Myers of Montgomery, Texas, Dane Gregory Hasha of Montgomery, Texas, Donna Gail Hasha-Buffa of Big Lake, La. And Thomas John Hasha and wife Sheila D. Hasha of Westlake, La. Donald had eight nieces and nephews Jeremy Hasha, Shannon M. Hasha, Joshua Hasha, Derek Hasha, Dusty Hasha, Samantha Myers-Houston, Danielle Ryan Hasha-Voros and Jared Hasha; along with numerous great nephews and nieces.

Donald is preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Hasha, mother Dorothy B. Hasha, and eldest brother Daniel Gary Hasha.
