Donna Kay Stewart Rinaudo, 58, animal devotee and all around good-time enthusiast passed away on Thursday March 9th, 2023. Left to ask the timeless question of "who has more fun than we do?” are her husband of forty years, Thomas (Tommy) Anthony Rinaudo, her son Jared Anthony Rinaudo, her daughter Julia Alyce Rinaudo, her brothers David Merrill Stewart (Della), and Donald Ray Stewart (Kim) and her 13 nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John “Jack” Merrill Stewart, mother Evelyn Clarice Pyles Stewart and brother Dennis Wayne Stewart.
Born October 11, 1964, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Donna Kay was the only girl & baby of the Stewart family. She became inseparable from her lifelong best friends Sally Smith Burch & Roxanne Kaufman Fuller. Wherever they went, fun --and sometimes trouble-- were sure to follow. Sally is credited with introducing Donna & Tommy and setting them up on their first date. Donna went on to be a devoted homemaker and to work for the Clerk of Court for many years. She cherished memories and precious moments with her friends and family—always taking pictures and accompanying them with a meticulous description of what was happening at the time. No occasion was too small to warrant a celebration--- she always had a card ready to send. Her contagious laugh and warm hugs will be dearly missed—she made everyone she met feel like family.
Visitation will be March 15, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home 8801 Mansfield Road. Funeral service will be held on March 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM, also at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her beloved nieces & nephews Taren Stewart Livesay, Gentry Rinaudo Olden, Lauren Rinaudo Meyer, Lindsey Rinaudo, John Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Markus Stewart and Matthew Rinaudo. The family would like to extend special thanks to Sally Smith Burch, Reagan Dice Smith, and Sophie Bridel.
