Earline Wingard was born June 17, 1928 in Vivian, Louisiana to the late Earl Craun and Mildred Craun. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended school and worked as a Barber for many years and was very devoting her life to her home and family. Earline was a dedicated member of Christ Lutheran Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she was very involved in church activities.
She was always thoughtful and considerate of others. She knew how to make everyone feel special. She had a fun loving and playful nature, that made her a joy to be around. Her kindness and warmth will be deeply missed.
Earline went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana at the age of 96. She is now reunited with her parents, Earl and Mildred, her husband, Gene Wingard, her daughter, Patty Rockett and husband, Louie, her son, Ricky and wife, Sherry, her son, Randy Wingard, her son-in-law, Carl Bobo and her grandson, Seth Feibel.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Bobo; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wingard; sister, Middie Hendrickson; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Teekell and husband, Tracy, Shelton Feibel, Doug Feibel and wife, Kristen, Philip Feibel, John Chris Feibel, Chris Howell and wife, Sarah, Belinda Kent and husband, Chris, Sarah Wingard, Lori McDonald and Leigh Schroer; along with numerous great grands, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff at Willis Knighton North 2nd floor, St. Joseph Hospice, The Carpenter House and Garden Park Nursing Home, for their caring and compassion.
A visitation for Earline will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Shelton Feibel, Philip Feibel, Doug Feibel, Chris Howell, John Chris Feibel and Blake Teekell.
