Elizabeth Faye (Powell) Lawley

Visitation will be held at Broadmoor Baptist Church 4110 Youree Drive, Shreveport on June 19 at 9:30 AM. Funeral services will be begin at 11:00AM with Dr. Tom Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park 8801 Mansfield Road.

Liz was born in Natchitoches Parish, LA to Maye and J. E. Powell on May 3, 1943. As a nurse, she provided compassionate care to many patients at P & S and Christus and was awarded Nurse of the Year for her efforts. She has joined her husband Earl, her brothers Johnny and Boney, and her sister Debbie in their heavenly place. Liz is survived by her children Kristin May and Earl Lawley, Jr; grandchildren Nicole Lawley, Francis Grace and Jack May and brothers Paul, Charles and Ronnie Powell and her sister Bobbie Arseneaux .

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to Dr. Tom Harrison Pastoral Ministries c/o Broadmoor Baptist Church or Holy Angels.
