

Ellis Clyde Goodman of Stonewall, LA was born November 11, 1947 in Pelican, LA. His parents were Drusilla and J.P. Goodman. He went to be with his Lord September 3, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Goodman loved his God, his family and friends. He was a member of King’s Temple United Pentecostal Church and worked at Beard Industries for more than 42 years.
Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Huey Goodman. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mazie Goodman of Stonewall, LA; son, Ellis Shane Goodman and wife Kristi of Frierson, LA; daughter, Misty Seaton of Stonewall, LA; grandchildren, Hayden Seaton, Hudson Seaton, Skylar, Cole, and Jaxon Goodman; sisters, Sue Gosnell of Rosepine, LA and Lois Minyard of Ozark, Arkansas; brothers, James (Buddy) Goodman and wife Bonnie of Grand Cane, LA, Danny Goodman and wife Shelia of Grand Cane, LA, and Carl Goodman of Shreveport, LA; other relatives and many friends.
A service celebrating the life of Ellis Clyde Goodman will be held at King’s Temple United Pentecostal Church, 8951 Kingston Road, Shreveport, LA on Sunday, September 6, 2015, 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Damon Magee, Rev. Michael Hudspeth and Rev. Steve Hill. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the church.
Pallbearers are Delaney Skinner, Paul Webb, Neal McVay, Bill Dowling, Randy Allen, Ronnie Allen, Royce Yates and Clyde Chism. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Welch, Larry Hinson, Gary Brummet, Craig Martin, Buster Rhodes, Bernie Rose, Dan Acosta and Steve Rogers.
