Faye Taylor Yates Ashley

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary L. Yates; great granddaughter, Stormy Lynn Felps Elliott; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a good friend Carole Marcotte. She is preceded in death by two husbands, James Yates and Phillip Ashley; two sons, Richard H. Yates and James Ray Yates; grandson, James David Yates; her parents; sisters, Clister Brown, Annie Emmons, Lela Godwin, and Rosaline Youngblood; and brothers, Orlen Taylor, J.C. Taylor, her twin Ray Taylor, Doyl Taylor, Chester Taylor and Kurnal Taylor. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Ms. Faye will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM followed by an interment in Centuries Memorial Park, with Bro. John Hatcher and Bro. Paul Warren to officiate and Lennie Lindsey performing the music of the services.
