On Sunday, January 15, 2023 our precious Frances Phelps King was surrounded by loved ones as she entered the gates of heaven and gained her angel wings.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Jackie.

She leaves behind her sister Judy Kalberg ( Neil ), nieces, Tiphanie Kalberg Chism ( Paul ) and Trista Kalberg Walsh ( Daniel ). Great nieces, Gracie Ann Chism and Bryna Walsh. Great nephews, Conor Walsh, Kyle Walsh, Liam Walsh and Riley Walsh. Along with 1000 + 1 friends.

After leaving AT & T, Frances began her career in Real Estate. She has been with her Coldwell Banker Gosslee family since 1987. She was President and Chairman of many local and state Realtor and Realtor affiliate organizations. Frances truly loved and cherished time spent with her NWLAR & WCR family.

Jackie and Frances spent many hours sharing laughs and creating lifelong memories with their Backwoods Hunting Club family. Frances was an LSU Tiger fan through & through. She never missed a chance to wear her purple and gold outfits from head to toe. Our Frances was the life of EVERY party.

Frances King’s life and legacy could truly be summed up by these words “ Live, Laugh, Love”. She was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.
