Frederick "Freddy B" Baldwin Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene, 251 N. Main St., the family will be receiving friends for visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Freddy B was born in Laurel, MS on November 2, 1950. He relocated to Shreveport, LA in 1976. He began working in the oilfield and held many positions in the industry over his 45-year career, retiring as a consultant. He was a fan of Merle Haggard and other country musicians. He loved his music loud, loved to laugh and never met a stranger. Freddy B. was a loyal friend, fearless companion and bonus dad to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma "Doris" and Harold “Hoover” Baldwin.

Freddy is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Baldwin; sons, James Baldwin and Frederick Baldwin, Jr.; daughters, Candee Johnson, Gina Crenshaw and Lee Ann Crenshaw and husband Brad; grandchildren, Micah and Madilyn Rae, Julie, Cole, Emma, Frederick III, Dawson, Claire, Brody, Jaxon, Kara and Audri; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Baldwin, and Lori Willis and husband Bill and brother, Kevin Baldwin and wife Michelle as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Barksdale Federal Credit Union.
