Mr. Henry Crawford Constable

Shreveport, LA- Graveside services will be held for Henry Crawford Constable on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Centuries Memorial Park. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ronnie Sandifer. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Constable was born in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, to John and Jane Constable on February 18, 1923. He passed away on July 29, 2016, from the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s. He worked for the City of Shreveport until his retirement in 1983. He was a hardworking man, who enjoyed singing, dancing and baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nita; brothers, Ernest Constable and J. C. Constable and his sister, Gertrude Melton.

Mr. Constable is survived by his daughters, Gail Davis and Marilyn Pardue; his son, Tracey Constable; five grandchildren, Patrick Davis, Kevin Davis, Lindsay Pardue, Kaley Constable and Taryn Constable and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Jay Sauce, Tracey Constable, Patrick Davis, Kevin Davis, Lindsay Pardue and Greg Ardoin.
