James Lee Johnson Jr.

James Lee Johnson Jr., 64, of Keithville, LA passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 5:00-7:00pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. A service celebrating the life of James Johnson will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:30pm in the chapel. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

James was a hardworking father, grandfather and a beloved husband. He will be best remembered for the joy he brought to his loved ones with his sense of humor and good natured ribbings. He also enjoyed woodworking and watching his wife fish. James was a dedicated multi-specialty worker for the City of Shreveport for 20 years.

James Lee Johnson Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Johnson Sr. and Effie Hobbs Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Docia Johnson; his daughters, Katina Blake, Jennifer Comford and husband Joe, Brittany Johnson, and Christina Watkins; sister, Janice Johnson Peters; brother, Joe L. Johnson; grandchildren, Sierra Blake, Madison and Caroline Comford, and Brianna Watkins; and his nephews, Stephen Johnson and James Allen Johnson.
