Coach T worked for 32 years as a high school coach and teacher at Benton High School, Benton, LA and Lakenheath High School on the American Air Force Base at RAF Lakenheath, England,U.K.
At the time of his passing, he and his wife Francy had retired and had been living in the mountains of Western North Carolina in the Hendersonville area for 19 years.
Coach T was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother Arthur Leopold Tschepl, Jr. ("Bart"). He is survived by his wife Francy of 52 years; and by his nephew Steve Tschepl of Houston, Texas area; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and many of his beloved friends, students and basketball, football and golf players.
Coach T's most important passion in life was for his love and belief in Jesus Christ. He loved his wife, his church, his family, his dear friends, his church family and his Country the USA. He was especially fond of and interested in the life's pursuits of all the students and ball players he was privileged to teach and know.
A Visitation will be held in the Kinkade Room of Centuries Funeral Home on Friday, October 14th beginning at 4 pm with guest speakers bringing words of reflection at 5:30 pm. A private graveside memorial will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11 am Centuries Memorial Park.
