James Ozell Womack

Shreveport, LA James Ozell Womack was born May 24, 1930 in Quitman, LA, he went to be with his Lord April 12, 2016 in Shreveport.

Mr. Womack was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, frog hunting and fishing. He loved wood work and carpentry.

Mr. Womack is rejoined with the love of his life, Loretta, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by his sons, James Womack and wife Lynn, Ricky Womack and wife Trish, Kevin Womack and wife Patricia, Jerry Watson, and Randy Watson and wife Corinda; daughters, Kimberly Stewart and husband Glenn and Donna Anderson and husband William; a sister, Patricia Lowery and husband Ken; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A service celebrating the life of Mr. Womack will be conducted Friday, April 15, 2016, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Cody Albritton and Rev. Tommy Allen. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the Willis Knighton Hospice for all their love and care they gave Mr. Womack, especially Tristy who was like family to them.
