Jerry Albert Paine, age 79, of Shreveport, LA passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Jerry was born on August 13, 1941 to Jesse and Marie Paine, in Bernice, LA.

Jerry retired from Certainteed Roofing in 2005. He was a man rarely seen apart from the love of his life, Ruth. He was a devoted family man that loved spending time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking them camping and on party barge rides. He taught his children and grandchildren strong morals and a good work ethic. He will be greatly missed by all who know him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Jesse & Marie Paine and brother Johnny Paine.

He is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 58 years, Ruth Paine; son, Johnny and Anita Paine; daughter, Denee and Kenneth Culbertson; sisters, Wanda and Larry Ginn, and Pam and Donny Odom; grandchildren, Jesse and Jessica Culbertson, Whitney and Forest Whitehead, Jeremy Paine, Rachel and Justin Loyd; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Whitehead and Micah Whitehead.
