Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Jimmie “Uncle Jimmie” Wayne Enloe, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Enloe was born in Shreveport, LA on August 7, 1948 and was unexpectedly called home to the Lord on November 30, 2016. Jimmie was an Alumni of Fair Park High School in Shreveport, graduating in 1968. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the City of Shreveport. Jimmie was an avid hunter, fisherman and fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Eunice Enloe and his older brother, Edward Lionel Enloe.
He is survived by his younger brother, Van T. Enloe and wife Mary Dice Enloe; nieces and nephews, Leslie Enloe Conger and husband Joe II, Denise Enloe Copeland and husband Jamie, Kevin T. Enloe and wife Pamela and Michael Joseph Enloe; great nieces and nephews, Kirk and Kristopher Williamson, Hailey Enloe and J.D. Copeland, Austin, Logan and Katie Enloe.
