Jimmy Sims

He was a devoted father and loving husband. Jimmy was a longtime tire technician and took pride in the fact that he could change anything on a rim, regardless of size. He spent many long hours working to provide for his family. He was a fun-loving dad who was always making jokes. Jimmy loved to fish and mudride the trails with his children. He will be sorely missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Betty Sims; mother, Linda Sepulvado; nephew, Charles Wright, and other family members.

He is survived in death by his wife, Marilyn Sims and children, Brianna and Logan Sims; brother, Rodney Sims and wife Brooke and children Landon, Denee, Jaymon and Katie; sister, Rose Wright and children Maria Wright and Merinda Locke. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
