John L. Tucker

Mr. Tucker graduated from Fair Park High School. He served in the Navy and was member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. He was a Sales Representative for Holsum Bakery for 34 years.

Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 67 years, Doris G. Tucker. He is survived by his son, Stephen Craig Tucker and wife Leisa Oglesby Tucker; granddaughter, Melissa Ebey and husband Errol; great grandchildren, Johnathon Ebey, Chelsie Ebey, Stephanie Ebey and Jacob Ebey; other relatives and many friends.

A service celebrating the life of John L. Tucker will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018, 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Francis Kamau. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 7 from 5 until 7 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Nelson, Dr. Herb Masters, Dr. Jina Miller, and the nursing staff of Willis Knighton Pierremont 7th floor step down for their excellent care. They would also like to thank Renata Carrier, Gladys Walker and Pat Moseley for the loving care given to Mr. Tucker.
