I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Joe.  He and my dad John Jones where friends & email buddies. My memories of Joe go back to Camp Bistno where I road my 3 wheeler around the circle every weekend and Joe would come eat biscuits & gravy with us in the mornings. I love and cherrish all of those memories even though it was 30 years ago.  Much love to his family.

My sister Mitzi and I spent many wonderful weekends at Camp Bis-t-no when we were youngsters. I have such great memories of Joe. My love and sympathy go out to his family. He will definitely be missed.

Little did I know that last bear hug you gave me several months ago would be the last. I know that growing up Mamaw just adored you and Aunt Nellie and you guys had such a sweet friendship. The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Joseph Steele Little our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Joe.   And to Joe it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean War while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Joe, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction.  You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

I Can't Emagine the pain and suffering he went throught. but he never complained. He was one tuff guy and a great man And a wonderful Brother. Lord Bless him and put him to work , he can't stand setting around.
