Kenneth Charles Hyatt, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born March 22, 1948 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Jean Marie Peek Willis and Charles Wesley Hyatt.
Kenneth was a proud graduate of LA Tech. He had a Bachelor Degree in business, using it to start his own business in retail before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and most of all spending time with his family. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He adored his family more than anything.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Kathy Hyatt; daughter, Tiffany Branch and husband Bradley; grandchildren, Jonathan Ratliff and wife Ellen, Jeremy Ratliff and wife Courtlyn, Hannah Branch, Braden Branch, and Tanner Branch; great grandchildren, Sydney Ratliff and Keaghan Ratliff; sister, Margaret Proctor and husband Fred with their son, Scott Proctor.
A memorial service for Kenneth will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Officiating the services will be William Valentine.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for Willis-Knighton Hospice, especially Christy Graham and his pastor, William Valentine for their care, compassion and prayers during the past couple of years.
