Services to celebrate the home going of Mrs. Lorese M. Searcy, 90, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Reverend Mike Stowell of Keithville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Tuesday evening between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lorese was born on July 1, 1921, in Sarepta, LA to parents Jack and Bessie Maynor and left this earthy life for her heavenly home on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Lorese was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Maynor; sisters, Ruby McCrary, Johnnie Ann Maynor, and Jewel "Blue Eyes" Dean. Mrs. Searcy leaves behind her husband of 68 years, Mr. Charles D. Searcy; two daughters, Jackie Santora and Patsy G. Searcy; her very special "Angel", Dollie Addington; and three sisters, Jeri Watson, Jane Nelson and "Sister" Craig.
