Patsy Gowan Langley

Patsy Gowan Langley of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born August 15, 1935 in James, Texas to Van Dorn Gowan and Holly Alene Gowan Ford. Patsy worked for over 30 years as a bookkeeper and was very efficient at her job. She was an avid reader. She could read for hours. Patsy also enjoyed fishing and eating the fish she caught. She loved spending time with her family and loving on her poodle, Gracie.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Greening (Rodney); son, Mike Langley (Bonnie); granddaughter, Jennifer Price (Jason); grandsons, Ryan Greening (Emily) and Alex Langley; great grandchildren, Ava Price, Anderson Price, Owen Greening, Levi Greening, Zoe Atkinson and Zara Atkinson and a sister, JoLynn Dennington.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Buddy Canova.

A graveside service for Patsy will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Paul Navarre will be officiating the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Christ United Methodist Church, 1204 Crabapple Dr., Shreveport, LA 71118.
