

Shreveport, LA – Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sherry Lupo Mobley, 73, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sherry was born in Tylertown, MS on July 23, 1939, to parents Willard E. and Ouida (Breeland) Lupo and passed away on December 2, 2012, following a lengthy illness. She was a 1957 graduate of Fair Park High School and a long time member of Broadacres Baptist Church.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bill Mobley; son, William Randall Mobley; grandson, Jacob Wilson; and parents, Willard and Ouida Lupo. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elaine Wilson, Pam Hotaling, Bobbie Mobley, and Pat Britton and husband, Chris; brother, Lynwood Lupo and wife, Sam; grandchildren, Christopher Hotaling, Crystal Hotaling Petersen and husband, Jeremy, Aaron Wilson, Rachel Wilson, and Austin Britton; great-grandchildren, Dalton Sepulvado, Joslyn Petersen, and Noah Lafitte; step-children, Mike Mobley and wife, Mary and family, Becky Mobley and family, Debbie Nollman and family; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and hundreds of children that Mimi helped raise as a childcare provider, even to the third generation.
Honoring Mrs. Mobley as pallbearers are Jerry Ivey, Wayne Lupo, Christopher Hotaling, Damien Griffin, Jeremy Petersen and Rodney Born. Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Wilson, Austin Britton, Adam Hotaling, Joe Sepulvado and Mike Mobley.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Willis Knighton North MICU 5 East, Dr. Brian Berryman and staff at Baylor Transplant Hospital in Dallas, TX, and also the staff at Stat Home Health for the outstanding care given our mother over the last nine years.
