Tony Franklin Miller

Funeral services for Tony Franklin Miller will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Following the service, Tony will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor James Hanks with be officiating the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Miller, Shane Carlisle, Benjamin Storrs, Luke Storrs, Charles Burson, Chad Puckitt and Keith Kinder as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Tony was born on November 1, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Dennis Harold Miller and Katherine Elizabeth Miller. He loved watching basketball and football whenever he got the chance. His favorite football team was the New England Patriots. He passed away at the age of 62 on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his siblings, Frank Miller and Spouse Phyllis Miller, JoAnn Ray and Spouse Charles Ray, and Terry Carlisle, his twin sister; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Miller and Donnie Miller.

The family would like to give special thanks to his special niece Shannon, the nurses and staff at The Guest House for their loving care and to Oakmont Church of God for their constant prayers and support.
