Elizabeth Victoria "Vickie" Bartley of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born August 27, 1945 in Springhill, Louisiana to Catherine Ann Pickett Fish and Homer Gordon Fish. She was very proud of the 33 years she spent with her Ranchland Family.
Vickie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was kind, caring, loving mother with a contagious laugh and zest for life. She lived to take care of her family. Her home was always open to everyone. She enjoyed working in her garden and flower beds and watching her family participate in rodeos, cheer and softball. Vickie was a lifelong member of Frierson Baptist Church, in which she loved her Sunday School Class and her fellow church members.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Bobby J. Bartley; daughter, Rene Bartley and fiancé, Dean Stiles; granddaughter, Cheyenne Orr and fiancé, Brian House; nieces, Shannon Fish and Cathy Willett; nephew, Michael Fish and his wife, Tamela.
Vickie was preceded in death by parents; her brothers, Gordon Fish and Jim Fish; her sister-in-law, Pat Fish, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Vickie will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Open Range Fellowship, 9950 Hwy 80, Greenwood, LA 71033. A celebration of her life will occur Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Open Range Fellowship. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dennis Aaron with Pastor Jeff Scott assisting. Serving as pallbearers are Brian House, Dean Stiles, Don Holtzclaw, Randy Holtzclaw, Jeffery Johnson, Dusty Roach with Reggie Roe acting as honorary pallbearers.
The family requests that donations please be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Vickie's memory.
The family would also like to extend their appreciation to Hand in Hand Hospice, including the nurses, Denise Killen, Zondrian Mack, Shannon Fish, and Pastor Jeff Scott.
