Alma Elizabeth White

WHITE, ALMA – Enfield, Nova Scotia. On the evening of March 06, 2012, God came and took our Mom to heaven. Alma passed away peacefully at the QEII Infirmary. Alma was born on December 9, 1937, a lifetime resident of Enfield, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Wilmont) & Ambrose Horne. Alma is survived by her daughters, Sandra, Geraldine, Susan Enfield; Sarah, Bedford; Heather Ellis (Tom), Elmsdale; Dawnelda LeBlanc (Robert), Belnan; sons, Donald (Dianne),,Enfield; Danny (Sandra), Halifax; Jim (Sandra), Durham; Bill (Leslie), Sackville. Her grandchildren, Morgan, Scott, Ben, Julie, Lori, James, Meghan, Angela, Shelley and Mark; great grandchildren, Lacey, Sapphira and Miriam; her sisters, Nancy Ryan, Grand Lake; Sharon Rochon, Dartmouth; Shirley Gaetz, Dartmouth, Lorraine Forbes, Enfield; brothers Leo Horne, Enfield; Eric Horne, Enfield. Alma was predeceased by her husband James, daughter Shelley, granddaughter Stella, sisters, Greta, Reta, Barbara; brothers, Clyde, Harold, Ray and Ronnie. Alma was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Branch 133, she worked at Moirs Chocolates before settling down with James to raise eleven children. Alma loved life but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Her life evolved around them, she loved the holidays and celebrated them to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by all. She will now be able to spend time with James her daughter, Shelley and her granddaughter Stella. She will be forever our Angel looking after us from above. Funeral service will be held, Saturday, March 10th at 11am at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield with Father Andrew Rembarczyk Officiating. Interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Enfield.
