Audrey Darlene Syliboy

SYLIBOY, Audrey Darlene - 60, Indian Brook, the family of Audrey Darlene Syliboy is very sad to announce the sudden passing on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, from a brief illness. Born in Sable River, she was daughter of the late Stephen and Rose (McEwan) Labrador. Audrey graduated from NSCC with a chef certificate. She was a foster parent to several children over the years. Audrey loved bingo and traveling to Pow Wows. Survived by her loving husband of 35 years Bernie Syliboy, sons Shane (Katrina Nevin), Bryson, Quentin (Shelby Skidmore), daughter Alanna; four grandchildren Justice Paul, Joshua Syliboy, Mia Syliboy-Kaulbach, Kennedy Nevin-Syliboy; brothers Stephen Labrador, Angus Labrador; Christopher (Frances Paul; Gordon Labrador; Gregory (Joanne Googoo); sisters Josephine (Bob Moriarty), Bernice, Sylvia (Hubert Gould), Valerie (Spencer Wilmont), Linda, Roslind, Anita (Keith Paul), Betty Labrador; also 15 in-laws on the Syliboy side of the family; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by a son Christopher Labrador, daughter Kelly Lin Syliboy, beloved grandson Micheal Louis Syliboy, sisters Diane Labrador, Genieve Francis, Margie Lattie “Tootie”, Dauphine Labrador, brother Elmer Labrador. Visitation 2-9 PM with prayers at 8pm, both days Saturday & Sunday and 11am-12:30 noon on Monday in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie with funeral service 2pm, Monday, September 19, 2011, in St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Tom Kurudeepan O.M.I. officiating.
