

MILLER, Beatrice Annie - 85, Hardwood Lands, with heavy hearts, the family of Beatrice Annie Miller announces her passing on November 15, 2011 at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born on October 31, 1926 in Shubenacadie, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Murray and Edith Mary (Tanner) MacDonald. Mom proudly raised her family with our father Fred on the family farm in Milford Station. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #111, Rebekah Lodge and Milford United Church UCW. Mom loved family gatherings, volunteering in the community, taking family photos and spending the winter months with Dad in Florida where they met many special friends. Surviving are her children Cecil (Pat), Hardwood Lands; Donald (Jean), Shubenacadie; Theresa Pacheo (Joe), Hardwood Lands; Vernon (Kathy), Dartmouth; Russell Fraser, Bedford. The pride of her life were her grandchildren Amanda Miller (Troy), Anita Foster (JC), Stephen Black, Adelle Dixon (Jack), Shauna Isenor (Trevor), Michelle McMichael (Derek), Greg Queripel (Debbie), Christopher Raghoonanan (Dana), Robert and Randy Raghoonanan, Erin Bridgeo (Jason), Daniel Miller (Nyesha), Brendan Miller, Angela Moulton (Andrew), Lisa Fuller (Steve), and twenty great grandchildren; special sister-in-law Gertie Doyle, Bedford. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frederick, sisters Lillias, Verna and Evelyn, brothers Ralph and Ira (in infancy). Visitation 6-8pm, Thursday and Friday in the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, with funeral service at 2:30pm, Saturday, November 19, in the Milford-Lantz United Church, Milford, Lori Crocker DLM officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
