Carol Sandra Ambrose

AMBROSE, Carol Sandra - 68, Lower Selma, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2011, in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by her family as well as Rev. Daryle Dykens. Born in Montreal she was a daughter of the late Martin and Althea (Pye) Kurivial. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She kept in touch with her family and friends through face book. Carol enjoyed cross stitching, bird watching from her kitchen window as well as her cross word puzzles. She is survived by her loving husband George, children Mandy McLellan, Truro; Dana (John) Ambrose, CBS, NL; Sandra (Randy) MacMeekin, Truro; Kelly (John) Tanasichuk, Moncton; grandchildren Nicholas, Laura, Megan, Brittney, Eben, Lucas and Samantha; great grandchildren Hunter and Kodi Leigh; brother Basil “Buck” (Shirley). Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, There will be no visitation or service by her request. A spring burial will take place in Selma United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Carol may be made to the COPD Research c/o Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Diabetics Association.
