

JOYCE, Colin Wayne – 27, Coldstream, passed away suddenly August 28, 2011, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Gordon Arthur and Sherry Lynn (Pickles) Joyce. Colin enjoyed being with his wide circle of friends, and everyone knew he was there. He was known for his great sense of humor. Colin enjoyed life to the fullest. His other interests included cars and mud trucks. He worked for World Wide Flight Services at Robert Stanfield International Airport. Colin is survived by his brother Jeremy Arthur; grandparents Harry and Sylvia Pickles, Chaswood; uncles, Wayne Pickles (Rosemary), Chester; Colin Pickles (Karen), Truro; Claude Joyce, Moncton; George Cheverie (Dianne), PEI; Gerard Joyce (Rita), Moncton; Calvin Joyce, Stewiacke; as well as numerous close cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Claude and Mary Joyce. Visitation 6-8 pm, Wednesday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where a Celebration of Life will be held 2pm, Thursday, September 1, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Cremation to follow. Committal service 2 pm, Sunday, September 4, in Hillside Cemetery, Middle Musquodoboit. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Colin may be made to a charity of your choice.
