Mary Louise Rose McCulloch

McCULLOCH, (ROSE) Mary Louise - Enfield, formerly of Shubenacadie and Admiral Rock, passed away June 19, 2012 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, at the age of 88. Mary served in the Airforce during the Second World War. Following her service she got married and raised her family in Admiral Rock. After her husband’s death (1973), she upgraded her education and went back to work in the administrative field for over a decade. Mary spent her retirement years in Shubenacadie until recently moving to Enfield. Mary is survived by sons Lewis (Mary Jane), Shubenacadie; Gary (Vanda), Stewiacke; daughter Ruth (Eric Offman), Halifax; six grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Lilly Glendenning, Moncton; and Sarah (Gordon) Porter, Charlottetown; brothers George, Admiral Rock; Charles (Una), Dartmouth; Harvey (Nancy), Chezzetcook; and David (Betty), Admiral Rock; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Levi McCulloch, her parents Frank and Emma (Coble) Rose, sister Blanche Fraser, brothers James and Reginald Rose. Visitation 6:30-8:30pm Thursday, with funeral service 1pm Friday, both in the Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Interment in Brookside cemetery immediately following the service.
