Ruby Mae Cooke

COOKE, Ruby Mae – 62, Alton, passed away at home with her family by her side on June 7, 2011. Born in Truro, October 13, 1948, she was the only daughter of Georgina (Mitchell) Cooke, Alton, and the late Carl Cooke. Ruby enjoyed her employment at CCOA, Enfield and her co-workers. She enjoyed bowling with Special Olympics. Ruby is survived by her mother Georgina, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Carl, grandparents Mary and Everette Mitchell, Lenna and William Cooke. Ruby will be sadly missed by her dogs Sheba and Killer and also her cats. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. No visitation by request. Funeral service 2 PM, Friday, June 10,in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Lori Crocker, officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East.
