Wendy Marie Horton

HORTON (nee CARPENTER), Wendy Marie – 33, Carrolls Corner, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on May 2, 2012, in the Victoria General Site, QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax. She was born in Halifax. Wendy is survived by her loving husband Everett, children Kassidy, Zackary, Kennady, Kaydence and Ryan; parents Tina and Francis Babin; siblings Priscilla (Nick), Chris (Cathy), Cora, Darryl (Amanda), Heather (Rodrigo), Martina. She is also survived by her chosen family Mary and Richard McCowan, childhood friend Jackie Janes, the “Riff Raff Pack”, special friend Sherry Donovan, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving nan, Dorothy Giroux. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, May 5, in Faith Community Church, Milford, Lori Crocker, DM and Pastor Paul vanderKooy officiating. Ev and family would like to thank Dr. Younis, Dr. Philpot, the wonderful staff at Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Dr. Fewer, the Palliative Care staff at the VG Hospital especially Dr. Paul McIntyre for his kindness during these last few days, the community of Milford, Carrolls Corner and the countless friends and neighbors who gave of themselves.
