Barbara Ann Lane Bartlett age 82 passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on February 13, 2020. Born on October 21, 1937 to the late Rupert and Gertrude Casteel Lane. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Sikeston High School. On June 23, 1957 she married Michael Noyes Bartlett her husband of 62 years who survives at their home. Barbara was a legal secretary for Mr. Dwight Crader for 51 years. She attended Tanner Street Church of God for 40+ years where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 37 years, a junior church leader, and served on the Christian Education Committee.
Barbara was a great worker, Sunday school teacher, friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to be around her family and church family. She was someone who took pride in everything that she did, making sure that everything was exactly how it should have been and once she started on something she never gave up.
Survivors include her husband Michael N. Bartlett, one son and daughter-in-law Michael Timothy and Edie Bartlett of Sikeston, one daughter and son-in-law Laura and Cory Jurica of Davenport FL, one grandson Ethan Bartlett of Sikeston and one granddaughter Miranda Bartlett of Sikeston, a brother-in-law Johnny McGee and one sister and brother-in-law Mary Lee and Bill Hailey. She is also survived by several very special nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Ralph Edward Lane; one sister Maxine McGee and one grandson Dylan Bartlett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston, MO. at 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Addison and Rev. Georg Karl, officiating.
A private interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Greg Bailey, Marty Williams, David Crader, Mitch Williams, Earl Standridge and Mike McReynolds.
