Benny Cohen Sr.

Born May 9, 1929, in Sikeston Mo., to the late James and Florence Cooper Cohen. He served in the Army Air Force. He worked for United Ridge Farms until his retirement.

On May 8, 1954, he married Doris “Faye” Anditon, who preceded him in death on January 19, 1997.

Survivors include: four sons and two daughters-in-law, Benny and Patricia Cohen Jr. of Bloomfield Mo., David Cohen of Diehlstadt Mo, Michael Cohen of Sikeston Mo., Brian and Holly Cohen of Sikeston Mo.; three daughters and one son-in-law, Ann Grindstaff of Cape Girardeau Mo., Wanda Cohen Raucci Of Auburn Washington, Sherry and Billy Dozier of Miner Mo.; two sisters, Betty Cohen Hobson of Chicago Il., Beulah Cohen Delanis of Chigao Il; sixteen grandchildren and many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Debbie Cohen; one sister, Ruby Cohen Tolbert; three brothers, John Cohen, Francis Cohen and Elvis Cohen.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 9, 2016 from 12:30 pm until time of memorial service at 1:00pm, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Jamie Jones, officiating.

Inurnment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfied Mo., with military rites provided by the Missouri Military Honor Guard.
