Betty Jean Fisk

She was born on October 4, 1931, in Williamsville, MO to the late Cecil and Dessie Stevens Vavak.

On October 12, 1952, in Rector, AR she married Desmon Fisk who preceded her in death on January 21, 2024.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Teresa Fisk of Sikeston, MO, two grandchildren, Brian (Mindy) Fisk of Sikeston, MO and Taylor Fisk of Sikeston, MO; four great-grandchildren, Henry Fisk, Jack Fisk, Amelia Fisk and Theodore Fisk all of Sikeston and two sisters-in-law, Judy Vavak and Bonnie Fisk.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil Vavak Jr, Jack Vavak, Paul Vavak and Bill Vavak.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Brother John Tarter, Pastor of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Sikeston, MO, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, MO.
