

Charles “Red” Talley, age 83, of Sikeston, died May 5, 2016, at Wappapello. Born November 30, 1932, in Caruthersville, to the late Charles G. and Susie Haynes Talley, he was the owner/operator of Big Red Auto Parts in Blodgett, retiring after 40 years. He was of Baptist belief. On September 10, 1950, in East Prairie, he married Clara Walters, who preceded him in death on January 7, 2015.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosanna and Delbert Harper of Wappapello and Jeannie and Ron Mitchell of Sikeston; two brothers and four sisters. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Linda Davis, Beth Hudson, Julia Moreland and Charles Mitchell; nine great grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Jennifer Lauren, Hailey Morrison, Tori Hudson, Kelton Hudson, Waylin Martin, Ashlyn Hudson, Noah Mitchell and Savannah Mitchell; and two great-great grandchildren, Keegan Harbison and Mason Morrison.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with his son-in-law, Ron Mitchell, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Julia Moreland, Waylin Martin, Tim Parkman, Jordan Davis, Jennifer Lauren and Richard Walters.
