Cindy Lynne Jackson

She was born on March 11, 1958 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Phillip Eugene Schearf and Enid Alice Campbell Schearf.

Cindy grew up in the First Baptist Church of Delta and she was saved and baptized there.

On December 17, 1976 in Delta, MO she married Mitchell L. Jackson, who was the Pastor of Music and Youth at First Baptist Church in Delta, MO. They have been married ever since then and she has served in various churches as a Pastor’s wife. The last twenty-six years she served as the Pastor’s wife at Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by three children, Sarah and Kevin Overcash of Collierville, TN; Luke and Kayla Jackson of Olive Branch, MS and Joshua and Cailey Jackson of Piperton, TN; eight grandchildren, Jackson, Gracie and Cannon Overcash; Logan, Jordan and Kloe Jackson; and Nora and Jhett Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her father and her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. with Bro. Mitchell Jackson and Bro. Keith Vawter, officiating.

A private interment will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta, MO.
