Claudette Copeland

Claudette Copeland, 68, of Morehouse, died July 14, 2012 at her home. Born July 18, 1943, in Morehouse, to the late Claude and Eva Lou Patrick Copeland, she retired from Tetra-Pak, and was of Baptist belief.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Acord and Shirley Donze.

Survivors include: her significant other; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jeannette Copeland of O’Fallon, MO; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Rocky Copeland of Morehouse and Vince and Nancy Chinell of Forsythe, MO; and one grandchild, Caitlyn Copeland of St. Louis. Also surviving are three nieces and their spouses, Pam and Bobby Eldridge and Becky and Scott Crumpecker, all of Sikeston, and Lindsay Acord of Memphis, TN; and two nephews and their spouses, Chris and Laura Acord and Kevin and Heather Acord, all of Baton Rouge, LA. Three step grandsons also survive, as well as two great nieces and five great nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 17, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jim Barnhart, associate pastor of the Miner Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
