Eugene Holland

Eugene Holland, 67, died June 19, 2015, at his home in Gray Ridge. Born February 18, 1948, in Hope, Ark., to the late Henry and Bertha Dyer Holland, he was a heavy equipment operator for Brown Sand & Gravel in Bloomfield, retiring after 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, Vina Lee Holland; five sons, Jimmy (Danielle) Erwin of Sikeston, Harry (Gina) Holland of Bloomfield, Matt (Kim) Holland of Vanduser, Jason (LeeAnn) Erwin of Hendersonville, Tenn. and Jacob (Demi) Lee of Bloomfield; four daughters, Eugenia (Gary) Huffman of Perryville, Connie Hargrove of Vanduser, Shawne Howell of Oran and Melissa Holland of Essex; one brother, Jack (Nancy) Holland of Poplarville , Miss.; four sisters, Lois Malone of Benton, Ark., Glenys Duckwork of Sikeston, Pat Daniels of Poplarville and Henrietta Hicks of Poplarville. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Nathaniel Holland, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24,at the Circle City Pentecostal Church, with Glenys Duckworth, pastor, officiating.
