Hilda I. Streeter, 92, formerly of Sikeston, died May 8, 2012 at the Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, MO. Born March 17, 1920, in Eau Claire, WI, to the late William and Marie Boetzer Boetcher, she was a self-employed hairdresser, and a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston. On October 12, 1943, in Rockford, IL, she married Irvin McClarty Streeter, who preceded her in death on March 14, 1990.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Nelson of Monett; one sister, Luvern Reber of Rockford; two grandchildren, Danielle Mueller of Springfield, MO and Tara Lowery of Gardner, KS; and three great grandchildren, Zoey Mueller and Colin Mueller of Springfield, and Asher Lowery of Gardner.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, with Rev. A.J. Wollenburg, pastor of the Concordia Lutheran Church, officiating.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
