Iva L. Shannon, 73, of Sikeston, died February 10, 2015, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born April 18, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo.,to the late Henry and Elsie Howard Sparks, she was of Catholic belief.
She was married to Bernard Shannon, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Barry and Kimberly Sevic of Florissant, Wiley Joe and Desean Sevic Jr. of Lees Summit, and Frank Sevic of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Charles Moates of Miner; and one sister, Loretta Ayers of St. Louis. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
One son, Brian Scott Sevic, preceded her in death.
No public services are scheduled. Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
