Jimmy Leon Duke

He was born on June 4, 1938 in Perryville, AZ to the late Ethel “Jack” and Bertha Mae Holloway Duke.

On October 5, 1961 in Morehouse, MO. he married Patricia Ann Walker, who survives of the home in Millington, TN. Jimmy was a parts manager for Nailing-Cooney Equipment. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie # 3319 in Sikeston, MO., and was a former member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston. After moving to Tennessee he and Patricia became members of Fellowship Baptist Church in Drummonds, TN.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Blake (Shelby) Downing of Wichita, KS; two daughters, Gina (Michael) Rogers of Friendship, MD and Angela (Gordon) Scott of Millington, TN and one brother David Duke or Bellingham, WA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Onnie Duke and one sister Lorene Horyna.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Joe McCullough, Pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
