She was born on July 20, 1979, in Sikeston, MO to Joe “Bob” and Karen Jeffries Williams who both survive of Sikeston, MO.
Lisa was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She spent a good portion of her life helping others. She worked at Bootheel Counseling Services in Sikeston for many years and then continued her career at Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau. Her heart was full of compassion for those who needed help. She was a wonderful listener. Her smile and love toward others was evident. She ended her career with Road Runner Safety Services in Jackson, MO.
Being the only daughter and the baby of four children, Lisa was her brothers’s baby girl. She was held in their arms until she was more than one year old. That bond lasted between them until she passed.
Lisa’s first trip to Current River was when she was 6 days old. She wanted to go to Van Buren every chance she got. She spent many summers camping and even in sickness she was hoping to go back.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two sons, Coby and Dylan McMikle both of Sikeston, MO; two brothers, Joey (Brooke) Williams of Sikeston, MO and Kevin Williams (Debbie Strobel) of Sikeston, MO; six nephews; Caleb, Joshua, Noah, Mason, Gage and Titus Williams and one niece, Hannah Anthony.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston, MO with Pastor Georg Karl, officiating.
A private family interment will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley, MO.
