
Born June 10, 1951, to the late Robert Elmer Burch Jr. and Ruth Etta Burch who survives of Sikeston, MO.
He grew up in Matthews, MO. After graduating Matthews Sr. High school, he served in the United States Navy for six years. He returned home and worked at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid and was a cattle farmer. He was an avid outdoorsman and advocate of conservation and safe hunting.
Survivors include: one son and daughter in law, John and Leigh Burch of Puxico, MO.; one daughter and son in law, Heather and Mitch Williams of Sikeston, MO., and their mother Jeanne Summers Burch of Sikeston, MO.; one brother and sister in law, Kenneth and Janelle Burch of Sikeston, MO.; two sisters and two brothers in law, Karen and Thom Henzi of Sikeston, MO., and Regina and Lynn Lewis of Bloomfield, MO.; three grandchildren, Kayliegh Burch of Puxico, MO., Chase and Lane Williams of Sikeston, MO.; five nephews, Phillip Burch, Daniel Beck, Nathan Beck and Nicholas Beck of Sikeston, MO. and Robert Lewis of Austin, TX.; one niece, Lauri Pendel of Fancy Farm, KY.
Visitation will be Thursday May 25, 20107 at 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
Memorial Mass to be scheduled at a later.
